Shannon and Guy grew up together and went from childhood friends to falling in love. Guy’s family had been visiting the Alton area for years and have a home on the lake, while Shannon’s family had been coming to Hermit Cove in Moultonboro for over 50 years. Guy proposed in a canoe on Lake Winnipesaukee, so it was only fitting that they hold their wedding on the same lake. They picked the Laughing Loon Family Estate in Wolfeboro, NH, for their June wedding and reception.
The event was a picturesque setting filled with gorgeous details that ranged from the handmade arbor made by Guy and his dad to the hand burned trees with their initials and dates to the chandelier that Shannon found on Craigslist and the rainbow that appeared during the first dance. The event was expertly handled by Private Weddings & Events and featured our Chavari chairs, farmhouse tables, dinner and glassware, and a 30′ x 60′ high peaked pole tent. Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner by Ellacoya Barn and Grille desserts by Wild Orchid Baking Co. and danced into the night with music by DJ Paul Warnick.
